Asif Hyder Parvez
Management Consultant, Business Development & Project Manager; an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management (Bocconi University), Milan, Italy. He attended the MBA student exchange program in TUCK School of Business at Dartmouth, USA. He has more than 8 years of work experience across various industries and geographies notably at Vision and Value (Consulting), Intesa Sanpaolo (Investment Banking), Shipping Corporation of India (Marine Engineering), TATA Steel, Indian Railways etc about project management, strategy, decision making, technical assistance-monitoring, mis-architecture, re-engineering, evaluation, budget & finance and communication. He has worked on cross-border projects at Europe (Italy, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Hungary, UK, Spain, Greece); Asia (India, China); and USA levels. He is also a researcher and coordinator at Vision (Italian Think Tank).
He led the project on “Internationalization of Italian Universities” with a focus on India & China. He coordinated the “Ex post evaluation of the European Social Fund 2000 – 2006” for the European Commission, DG Employment. He assisted the “Mid-term evaluation of the Community Programme for Employment and Social Solidarity-Progress 2007-2013” for the European Commission, DG Employment. Also, he was in a project management team for the study on the “Participation of and Impact on Least Favored Groups of Cohesion Policy in Romania” for the European Commission, DG Regio.
Asif also holds a Bachelors’ of Technology in ‘Mechanical Engineering’ from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India with a concentration in Entrepreneurship & Business Management. Asif has volunteered UNESCO / World Bank in a project to save and clean river Ganges,Varanasi,India Languages: English (Fluent), Hindi (Fluent), Urdu (Fluent), Italian (Intermediate), Sanskrit (Basic)
